Goals:
- Increase internal adoption and external awareness of various programs in your specific market, including, but not limited to: the Vendor Referral Program, Affinity Programs, CPE Program, etc.
- Increase existing vendor participation as it relates to referring Mpower products and services to their customers
- Recruit new vendors via vendor seminars, networking events, business and community functions
- Increase Affinity Program awareness by attending community and fundraiser events
- Increase sales via various market events, such as sales blitzes, expo and networking events
- Create Market Development Strategies and Tactics through Channel and Direct Efforts such as Blitz days, Networking/Community Events, Business Seminars, etc.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Attend sales team meetings weekly to provide input and direction
- Deliver professional training/mentoring/coaching/vendor/equipment programs designed to enhance the skills, abilities, and performance levels to achieve organizational goals.
- Attend customer appointments with vendors
- Provide trainings at vendor offices
- Provide trainings at sales offices
- Provide support, guidance, training, etc. to the sales teams in your market
- Organize and present regular Vendor Seminars in each market
- Identify and uncover new vendor partnerships and opportunities
- Identify and uncover new Affinity Program opportunities
- Attend networking, community, conferences, expo and fundraising events
- Organize market events that generate sales leads
- Maximize vendor relationships
- Track vendor sales opportunities
- Track and manage Affinity opportunities
- Support Blitz and Market Development Efforts
- Support Networking and Business/Community Events
