Rolla P. Huff is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mpower Communications, a facilities-based provider of broadband data and voice services to business customers throughout California, Las Vegas and Chicago. Huff joined Mpower in October of 1999 and is a seasoned telecommunications executive with more than 20 years of business and industry experience.

Prior to Mpower, Huff was President and Chief Operating Officer for Frontier Communications, where he led its merger with Global Crossing Ltd. In addition, he helped reposition Frontier in the Internet space and tripled the value of the company in 18 months. He joined Frontier as Chief Financial Officer in May of 1998, and was responsible for overseeing the corporate
finance, consolidated accounting, tax, treasury and investor relations departments for the firm.

Huff served more than five years with AT&T Corporation and AT&T Wireless, where he held numerous executive positions with increasing responsibilities, including the title of President for the Central United States. As President, he was responsible for AT&T's wireless business in 15 states, encompassing approximately 1.6 million customers and representing more than $1 billion in annual revenue.

During his tenure with AT&T Wireless, Huff also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 1995 to 1997. As CFO, he was the key interface with the investment community, financial analysts, and rating agencies for the wireless business. Prior to his appointment as CFO, he was the Financial Vice President of AT&T's Mergers and Acquisitions group.

His background also includes serving more than 10 years with NCR Corporation where he held a variety of roles in auditing, accounting, financial planning and operations for domestic and international business units.

Mr. Huff earned a bachelor's degree in management from Purdue University.

As President and Chief Operating Officer for Mpower Communications, Joe Wetzel leads all aspects of the company’s integrated voice and data service delivery and customer support efforts for its more than 125,000 customers. Specifically, Wetzel oversees Mpower’s provisioning, customer service, network services, technology and product development, and information technology divisions.

Wetzel first joined Mpower in August 2000 as President of Operations and quickly developed and implemented a standard service delivery process that increased efficiency and improved customer service across all of Mpower’s markets.

Under Wetzel’s leadership, the company has made significant strides on all of its operations metrics – with provisioning and repair intervals, as well as network quality and reliability measurements that are among the best in the telecommunications industry. Wetzel was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer in May 2001.

Wetzel, a 25-year telecommunications professional, joined Mpower from ATT Broadband (previously MediaOne Group). He spent several years at MediaOne and USWEST leading technology and operational functions in voice and data communications environments. At MediaOne, he established standard network and capital deployment processes for the company's network design and architecture, technical new product development and network operations support systems.

Wetzel earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. He also attended the Stanford Executive Program.

Gregg Clevenger leads Mpower's financial strategy and financial operations, and is a key partner in the day-to-day management of the company. Clevenger first joined Mpower in January 2000. Previously, Clevenger served nearly three years as a Vice President of Goldman, Sachs & Co. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Clevenger was Vice President at Morgan Stanley, where he headed the Telecommunications Group in Southeast Asia.

Mr. Clevenger received a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences and a MBA from Washington University.

Jim Ferguson, President of Sales & Marketing
Jim Ferguson oversees all sales, marketing, product management, technical support, and training functions. A veteran of the telecommunications industry, Ferguson brings more than 20 years of experience built around Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial businesses. He held a variety of senior leadership positions with Frontier (which was purchased by Global Crossing in 1999), Cable and Wireless, Sprint, Racal Skynetworks, and GTE.

Mr. Ferguson graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters degree in Labor and Industrial Relations. Mr. Ferguson attended the University of Michigan Business School Executive Leadership Program.

Russ Shipley, New Technology OfficerRuss Shipley, President of Wholesale and Chief Network Services Executive
Russ Shipley is President of Wholesale for Mpower Communications and has overall responsibility for sales and support of all wholesale products including voice, private line, Internet services and converged services. Shipley has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, most recently serving as Mpower's New Technology Officer. Prior to joining Mpower Shipley held several leadership positions with Global Crossing and Frontier Corporation including service, operations, engineering, technology, construction, sales and business-development groups. His career also includes various positions at Rochester Telephone Corporation.

Mr. Shipley holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a MBA with a concentration in Operations Management from the University of Rochester.

Russ Zuckerman, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate SecretaryRuss Zuckerman, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Guiding the company's legal policies and procedures, Russ Zuckerman supervises the company's regulatory activities and assures compliance with legal requirements. Prior to Mpower, Zuckerman was a partner in the litigation department of Underberg & Kessler LLP. He joined Underberg & Kessler in 1973 and served as its managing partner from 1993 to 1996. Zuckerman's earlier experiences included a position as Chief Law Clerk for the Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court.

Mr. Zuckerman holds a Bachelors of Arts from Columbia College, and a J.D. from Yale Law School.

Michele Sadwick holds responsibility for the management and retention of Mpower’s business customer base, specifically client services support of key accounts and the inside sales organization. Sadwick joined Mpower in 1999 as Vice President of Corporate Communications and in her current role continues to oversee both public relations and marketing communications. Previously Director of Public Relations for Global Crossing's North American Operations, Sadwick joined that company through the merger with Frontier Communications, for which she managed employee communications and public relations beginning in 1995. Sadwick’s prior experience includes internal and external communications positions at various non-profit organizations.

She holds a Bachelors in English and Masters in Public Relations from Syracuse University Newhouse School of Public Communications.
