Mpower Communications Expands Availability Integrated T1 Product

ROCHESTER, NY — January 7, 2002 - Mpower Communications, a provider of broadband high-speed Internet access and voice services to business customers, today announced that its MpowerOffice integrated voice and Internet service solution is now available in South Florida.
MpowerOffice combines high speed Internet access with local and long distance voice services, as well as the most popular local calling features and Internet applications, in one convenient solution. By providing this bundle over an unchannelized T1 platform, Mpower can offer customers many advantages, including flexible bandwidth allocation and guaranteed data rates, which are essential in today's electronic business communications environment.
Elite Protection, a private security firm in West Palm Beach, Florida found the MpowerOffice Accelerator package to be the best solution for sending mission critical data between its multiple locations. Each MpowerOffice package includes LATA-wide calling, flat rate long distance, dedicated bandwidth, remote dial-up access, email accounts, voice mail, caller ID and the ability to select additional features. - MpowerOffice Accelerator includes 4 to 8 local voice lines and Internet service from 320 Kbps to 1.0 Mbps.
- MpowerOffice Velocity includes 9 to 16 local voice lines, Internet service from 512 Kbps to 1.0 Mbps and IP features such as DNS, Web hosting, domained email service and additional IP addresses.
