Mpower Communications Adds Broadband Industry Veteran To Lead Service Delivery
Appoints Former AT&T Broadband and Media One Executive to Senior Vice President of Customer Operations
ROCHESTER, NY - February 5, 2001 - Mpower Communications Corp. (AMEX:MPE), a provider of broadband data, Internet and telephony services to business customers, today announced the addition of Steven A. Reimer as Senior Vice President of Customer Operations. In this position, Reimer will be charged with driving effectiveness and quality throughout the process of delivering service to customers.

A 21-year industry veteran, Reimer joins Mpower from AT&T Broadband where he was most recently Vice President of Operations. In this role, Reimer was accountable for the company's financial and operational performance in its Chicago-based operations serving nearly two million voice, video and data customers. His functional responsibilities included customer care, field fulfillment, engineering, government relations, marketing, sales, IT and financial planning.
In addition to his five years at AT&T Broadband and then Media One, Reimer also served 13 years at Continental Cablevision of Chicago. He earned his MBA at the Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree from Western State College in Gunnison, Colo.
