Former AT&T CFO Richard Miller Joins Mpower Communications Board of Directors
Rochester, NY -- March 28, 2000 -- Mpower Communications (Nasdaq:MPWR), a leading provider of broadband data, Internet and telephony services to business customers, today announced that Richard W. Miller, former Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AT&T, has joined Mpower's Board of Directors.

In addition to Mpower Communications, Miller is currently on the Board of Directors of Avalon Bay Communities, Closure Medical Corporation and SBA Communications, Inc.
