ROCHESTER, NY — April 3, 2002 — Mpower Holding Corporation, a facilities-based broadband communications provider, announced today that effective Thursday, April 4, it expects its common and preferred stock to begin trading on the NASD Over the Counter Bulletin Board under its current symbols MPWR and MPWRP respectively.
