Mpower Communications Declares Series D Dividend
7.25% Dividend on Series D Convertible Preferred Stock
ROCHESTER, NY -- April 18, 2000 -- Mpower Communications Corp. (NASDAQ: MPWR), a facilities-based provider of broadband data, Internet and telephony services to business customers, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend on its 7.25% Series D Convertible Preferred Stock.
Mpower declared a dividend of $0.95 per share, payable in shares of Mpower common stock on May 15, 2000. The record date for the dividend payment is April 28, 2000. The Series D Convertible Preferred Stock is listed on the NASDAQ National Market under the symbol "MPWRP."
