San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento Business Customers Now Have Broadband Data and Voice Alternative
ROCHESTER, NY -- May 2, 2000 -- Mpower Communications (Nasdaq:MPWR), a leading provider of broadband data, Internet and telephony services to business customers, today announced its expansion into the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay Area markets.
As one of the first companies to deploy Voice over Symetrical Digital Subscriber Line (VoSDSL) technology, Mpower now offers business customers high-speed, integrated communications services in select areas of Northern and Southern California, including Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, and now Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area. To date, the company is offering VoSDSL in 15 markets, and expects to add five new additional markets in the second quarter.
