Mpower Communications Declares Series D Dividend
7.25% Dividend on Series D Convertible Preferred Stock
ROCHESTER, NY - July 18, 2000 - Mpower Communications Corp. (NASDAQ: MPWR),
a facilities-based provider of broadband data, Internet and telephony services to business customers, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend on its 7.25% Series D Convertible Preferred Stock.
Mpower declared a dividend of $0.91 per share, payable on August 15, 2000 in either cash or shares of Mpower Common Stock pursuant to the terms of the Certificate of Designation for the Series D Preferred Stock. The record date for the dividend payment is July 28, 2000. The Series D Convertible Preferred Stock is listed on the NASDAQ National Market under the symbol "MPWRP."
