Mpower Communications Responds to Class Action Lawsuit
ROCHESTER, NY - September 22, 2000 - Mpower Communications Corp. (Nasdaq:MPWR), today confirmed that it has been named in a class action lawsuit filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of a purported class of purchasers of Mpower stock between February 4, 2000 and September 7, 2000. Mpower will vigorously defend this action.
