Mpower Communications Declares Series D Dividend
7.25% Dividend on Series D Convertible Preferred Stock
ROCHESTER, NY - October 20, 2000 - Mpower Communications Corp. (Nasdaq:MPWR), a provider of broadband data, Internet and telephony services to business customers, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend on its 7.25% Series D Convertible Preferred Stock.
Mpower declared a dividend of $0.91 per share, payable in shares of Mpower common stock on November 15, 2000. The record date for the dividend payment is October 30, 2000. The Series D Convertible Preferred Stock is listed on the Nasdaq National Market under the symbol "MPWRP."
